An extremely rare high quality and nicely sized specimen of Cubic Boleite with little cubic Pseudoboleite crystals on top from Boleto, Baja, Mexico. This is one strange mineral. It is actually composed of three tightly packed rectangles that are positioned 90 degrees to one another forming this cube formation. Its a Halide mineral and is composed of lead, copper and silver. Not many minerals have similar chemical compositions! This is a large sized specimen for the species. Boleite has a high refractive index and is extremely dense.
